HANDCRAFTED WITH SOUL • MADE IN AMERICA
Headquartered in Long Beach, California, The American Arborgraph Company was founded in 2025 by Graphic Designer and Photographer, Noah William Gilman.
HOW WE GOT STARTED
Our company began when we were searching for a solution to help deal with an accumulation of discarded wood in our neighborhood. Our City Recycling Program collects the recycling, but almost always leaves the wood behind. We wanted to try to discover an alternative use for unused wood that virtually no one else was doing. After much research, we discovered that we could offer unwanted wood a second chance at life and turn them into beautiful works of art. After trying and failing many times, using the different techniques for transferring images to wood we learned, we were eventually able to develop a new and better procedure to help obtain more consistent results, giving us the ability to handcraft a superior, higher quality wood print.
At American Arborgraph, our top priority will always be the complete satisfaction of our customers. We realize that even if we got everything else right, all of our hard work would be meaningless if we were not treating our customers right.
P R O D U C T S
We are committed to creating the best, handcrafted arborgraphs available. With an ever evolving selection of super cool designs, we take pride in everything we make. All made, with soul, right here in the U.S.A.
The EPA estimates that more than 30 million tons of recoverable wood is wasted in the United States every year, alone. Every American Arborgraph starts with carefully selected, recovered, up-cycled or sustainably sourced wood. Each natural wood blank is cut and shaped by hand. We use only food-safe stains and water based varnishes.
97% of our products are made from recovered wood collected within one mile of our studio.
At American Arborgraph, we have been researching and developing the techniques to hand print graphics onto wood furnishings, like tables, chairs and more. Stay informed of our progress by visiting our BLOG or CONTACT US for your FREE American Arborgraph E-Newsletter.
